A group of West Ham fans were left marooned in the Thames after their party boat crashed into a bridge while on their way to a football match.
While taking an inventive route to Craven Cottage for Sunday’s match against Fulham, the Emerald of London hit Hammersmith Bridge.
The boat, which can hold up to 140 people, then crashes into the low-hanging bridge.
In the video clip, which was posted online by Greg Jackson, the founder of Octopus Energy, the ship then turns while pinned underneath Hammersmith Bridge as it attempts to manoeuvre out.
No one was injured in the crash, and all those onboard were able to disembark once the boat had navigated to a safe spot.
Fans onboard the Emerald, which only suffered minor damage, booed throughout the ordeal.
For those fans, however, there was no joy later the same evening at Craven Cottage as Fulham beat the Hammers 5-0.
The result pulled the Cottagers to 10th in the Premier League, just one place and three points behind West Ham.
